What we fix on Monogram ranges.

/01

Oven shows F1 control failure

The articulating LED screen reports F1, an ERC/keypad control fault. The control board or membrane keypad is tested and replaced so the range bakes to setpoint again.

/02

F3 / F4 oven temperature sensor fault

An F3 (open RTD) or F4 (shorted RTD) code means the oven temperature sensor circuit is out of range, so the oven over- or under-bakes. The sensor and harness are tested against spec and replaced.

/03

F2 oven over-temperature

An F2 code flags the oven exceeding its setpoint — typically a drifted sensor or a stuck relay on the control. Diagnosed before the heating circuit is allowed to run unattended.

/04

Gas burner will not ignite

A surface burner clicks but will not light, or lights slowly. A fouled spark electrode, a clogged burner port, a failed spark module, or a weak igniter on the sealed Professional burners.

/05

Self-clean lock stuck (Loc Door / Unlock Door)

After a self-clean cycle the display shows "Unlock Door" and the motorized latch will not release, or an F9/FC door-lock fault appears. The latch motor, switch, or control output is tested and repaired.

/06

Trivection / convection not heating evenly

A dual-fuel range bakes unevenly or the Trivection mode underperforms. A failed convection element, a stalled convection fan motor, or a control not switching the element correctly.

/07

Meat-probe fault (FD)

An FD code flags the meat-probe or probe receptacle. The Smart Oven Probe jack or its wiring has failed, so the oven cannot read internal food temperature; the receptacle is tested and replaced.

/08

SmartHQ Wi-Fi will not connect

The range will not link to the SmartHQ app or drops its connection. A control-to-WiFi-module fault, a firmware state, or a router-band mismatch isolated by testing the connectivity board.

/09

Oven door will not seal or close flush

Heat escapes around the door or it no longer closes flush. A failed door gasket, worn hinges, or a sprung door spring on a heavy Statement range door; realigned and resealed.

/10

Articulating LED screen blank or unresponsive

The full-color articulating display stays dark, flickers, or will not respond to touch. A failed display board, a loose ribbon connector, or a control-board output fault, isolated by testing each board.

These are the most common issues — not an exhaustive list. Our technicians diagnose and repair any Monogram range problem, including intermittent faults, unusual symptoms, and issues not listed here.

About Monogram range repair

Common Monogram range problems

Reliable Monogram range repair starts with the faults these dual-fuel and all-gas Professional ranges show most often. A Monogram range will flag an F1 control failure, F2 over-temperature, or F3/F4 oven temperature-sensor fault on its articulating LED screen, while the cooktop side brings surface burners that will not ignite, a self-clean latch that jams with an “Unlock Door” message, and uneven baking when the Trivection or convection circuit underperforms. Heavy Statement and Professional range doors can lose their seal, and the Smart Oven Probe receptacle can fail with an FD code. Each symptom points to a discrete, replaceable component rather than a whole new range.

Our Monogram range repair process

Our experienced technicians begin every Monogram range repair by confirming the exact model and configuration — a ZDP dual-fuel range behaves differently from a ZGP all-gas Professional range — then reading any code on the display before testing the named component. Sensors are checked against spec, igniters and spark modules are verified, convection elements and fan motors are tested under load, and the motorized self-clean latch is exercised before any part is fitted. We use genuine OEM parts matched to the build, because a premium range does not tolerate approximate substitutes, and the work is backed by a 30-day labor warranty. Most repairs are completed in a single visit, and you can book a visit online at any time.

On a first visit our technicians also look past the presenting fault. A range that throws intermittent F3/F4 codes is checked for a chafed sensor harness rubbing the oven liner, not just a tired RTD; a burner that lights slowly has its spark electrode gap and orifice inspected before the spark module is condemned; and a self-clean latch that hesitates is cycled several times cold and hot to catch a failing latch motor early. We also confirm the dual-fuel gas pressure at the manifold and verify the convection fan spins freely, because a stiff bearing is a slow uneven-bake complaint waiting to happen. Catching these alongside the main repair spares a heavy Statement or Professional range a second call-out weeks later.

Monogram range models we service

We service the full Monogram range lineup, including ZDP dual-fuel models such as the ZDP364NDPSS, ZDP366NPSS, ZDP484NGPSS, and ZDP486NDPSS, alongside ZGP all-gas Professional ranges like the ZGP304NRSS. These ranges carry true European convection, Trivection that blends convection and microwave heat, the Smart Oven Probe and Sous Vide Probe, SmartHQ Wi-Fi, and the articulating full-color LED screen. Whether your range wears a bold Statement face or a Professional commercial-inspired front, our model directory lists the elements, sensors, igniters, and control boards matched to each specific build so the correct genuine part is sourced the first time.

Error codes and diagnostics

Monogram ranges report genuine F-codes that guide diagnosis. F0 is a stuck or shorted key, F1 an ERC/keypad control fault, F2 an over-temperature condition, F3 an open oven sensor (RTD) circuit and F4 a shorted one, F5 a control-board failure, F7 a stuck keypad key, and F9 or FC a door-lock circuit fault. An FD code flags the meat-probe receptacle, while display words such as “Loc Door”, “Unlock Door”, and OFF relate to the self-clean lock rather than a stored fault. Our technicians read the code, then confirm it by testing the named sensor, relay, or latch. You can look up what each code means on our range error-code guides before you book.

Service areas

Our specialist technicians cover all 50 states and 120+ metro areas, and the booking form accepts requests 24/7 with same-day visits offered where availability allows. Every visit is handled by a specialist who carries the diagnostic tools and the genuine parts most likely needed for your appliance, so the fault is identified and, wherever possible, fixed on the first trip rather than over several return visits. Diagnostic visits start from $129; the total cost depends on the parts and configuration involved, and we never quote a fixed price sight unseen. Full specifications and the current range lineup are published by the manufacturer at monogram.com. If your kitchen pairs a range with separate cooking appliances, see our oven error codes as well, and book any service through the scheduling page.
